To aid logistics planning for a future unSummit in Nottingham w/c 2 November and to make sure that other unSummit threads can be geared towards discussions around goals, objectives, methods and outcomes; I've created this thread to handle some of the more practical questions.
I've often found that committing / resolving these logistical issues early on creates more space for richer conversations.
As such I would really like to know from those interested, the answers to a few of the following questions:
- How many people?
- Are there different types of people with different needs?
- How private?
- Individual rooms? Shared Rooms?
- What facilities?
- Desired budget?
- Do you need to be near the city centre?
An estimate of the number of people / desired people on each day, perhaps provide a breakdown of the different types of people e.g. 12 unMonasterians / 23 unSummit delegates.
There will be no doubt easier ways to gather this information and more questions to come. If you can think of a more effective way to gathering this information then perhaps create it.
